A Cosmic Connection
I've always had a mind that sees possibility and dreams big. Nurturing a sharp intuition, I believe in the interconnectedness of the cosmos, the earth, and every living being. This belief became the driving force behind my journey into the world of skincare, a journey that began with a deep understanding of the mind-body-earth-spirit connection.
The Struggles of a Nurse and Mother
As an RN, my life was a tapestry woven with long hours, exposure to environmental toxins, emotional and mental stress inherent in the healthcare profession. In 2013, my world took an unexpected turn when my son was born with Cerebral Palsy, a condition stemming from a stroke before his birth. Faced with the challenges of deciding the future of my career and navigating my son's complex medical treatments, my stress reached new heights, manifesting in an unbearable autoimmune response that wreaked havoc on my skin – it became sensitive, inflamed, and painfully reactive.
The Turning Point
During these challenges, a deep-seated determination emerged. It became my mission not only to find a solution for my own skin issues but also to support my son in his healing journey through various treatments and surgeries. This determination led me to become a certified Essential Oils Wellness Coach, delving into the transformative power of nature's ingredients.
The Birth of Maná
Armed with newfound knowledge, I set out to create a skincare line that would not only address my skin concerns but would also serve as a natural support system for my son's healing.
